Iain has been playing guitar since 12 years old. He started playing in bands in South Africa as a teenager and played with Jacob Hay in Johannesburg until forming Scarlet O'Hara with Howard Evans.

Iain enjoys a wide spectrum of music and dabbles in photography.

He recorded his first batch of original songs in 2000, producing the cd 'I Found it in Howards Garage'. The project is a combination of different types of songs and instrumentals, proggy blues/rock to some extent, with Iains long time song writing partner, Duncan Mangham, contributing lyrics to 4 tracks. Iain's currently recording a new project which to date suggests an even further delve into shadows of proggy blues including lyrical contributions from Tony Sutton the COLDTYPE Editor and creator.
